"In silence, a clear message came: Begin now."

Life Force Trees is an impact project born from the Life Force Art series by Ekaterina Sky - the seed of a calling, a movement to restore our planet one rooted intention at a time.

If each of us plants around 165 native trees, together we can help heal the Earth's degraded lands, revive lost rainfall cycles, and draw down billions of tons of carbon.

This is where we begin.

165 Trees per Person.
Start Today.

Choose where to plant your share based on your budget, and watch our global ticker grow as the planet begins to breathe again.

Why 165 Trees?

Global research led by the Crowther Lab at ETH Zurich shows that our planet has space for approximately 0.9 billion hectares of additional forest cover, enough to nurture around one trillion native trees worldwide.

If every person on Earth helped restore about 165 trees, we could begin to heal the planet at a meaningful scale, rebalancing ecosystems, reviving the forests' invisible sky rivers that bring rainfall, and capturing an estimated 200 billion tons of carbon over the coming decades.

Planting these trees is how we return life to degraded lands, together, one rooted intention at a time.

The Movement Is Just Beginning

We are in the preparation phase, gathering partners, sites, and supporters to bring the first Life Force Trees forests to life.

About the Artist

Ekaterina Sky

Ekaterina Sky is an artist who paints to protect our planet. Her Life Force art began in the rainforests of Borneo, where she saw how every tree, animal, and drop of rain is part of one big family. Her dream is to help people everywhere remember that we belong to nature and that together, we can help it heal.

Through her project, Life Force Trees, Ekaterina invites everyone to take action: to plant trees, protect rainforests, and restore the Earth's balance. Each tree planted is a living prayer for the planet, a small act of love that helps bring life, hope, and clean air back to the world we share.

A Prayer for the Earth reforestation initiative

165 Trees for Renewal

Each tree is a living prayer for the Earth. Together we plant 165 at a time - you choose where they take root and how they restore life.

Choose your 165

Tier 1 — Start a Forest

Partner ex.Ecosia
$50
Impact: 165 seedlings planted across Ecosia-supported projects
Good for: an accessible entry point that spreads trees widely through a global network

Note: This tier focuses on planting seedlings and does not include a survival-to-maturity guarantee. You can later choose to donate an additional amount to help ensure that these trees are cared for as they grow, supporting long-term survival and aligning with our shared mission of true restoration.

Tier 2 — Rebuild Nature

(California)
Partner ex.One Tree Planted
$165
Impact: 165 native trees for post-fire restoration in California, with priority toward the Eaton Canyon area when available
Good for: local healing, wildlife habitat recovery, and community connection
Premium Impact

Tier 3 — Protect the Rainforest

(Borneo)
Partner ex.Health In Harmony
$660
Impact: 165 rainforest trees planted with Indigenous and local leadership, plus co-benefits like healthcare and sustainable livelihoods
Good for: deep ecological impact and community support in the lungs of the Earth

Why 165

One hundred sixty-five is our shared unit of care. It turns a single act into a measurable forest. It is a number we can repeat together until the canopy returns.

Transparency and Care

  • Tier 1 focuses on broad access and early-stage planting
  • Tiers 2 and 3 prioritize restoration outcomes and community co-benefits
  • Survival and monitoring vary by site and season

Already Planted Native Trees?

If you've planted trees yourself or through another organization, you can log them here. We'll ask if they're native to your area. Only native plantings count toward our collective total.

Our Growing Network

This interactive map shows the reach of our global restoration movement. Green pins mark verified planting sites where native trees are taking root through our trusted partners. Red pins highlight degraded forest areas that urgently need restoration.

As our movement grows, this map will expand with new planting sites and restoration projects. Every tree planted brings us closer to our goal of 1.35 trillion trees, 165 per person.

Mark your own planting location by dragging the blue pin onto the map. Together, we're creating a living record of Earth's restoration.

Transparency from the Ground Up

We commit to full transparency:

  • Only native trees count toward the official total.
  • Self logged trees appear as pending until reviewed.
  • All verified projects will be monitored through Restor.eco and Global Forest Watch.
  • Fiscal transparency: Donations are managed through Collidescope Foundation, ensuring all funds reach verified reforestation partners.

Our Supported Organizations

These trusted partners ensure that every Life Force Tree is planted ethically and verified for long term survival.

Phase One: Be Part of the Beginning

Together we're planting the first 16,500 trees - 165 per person for the first 100 supporters. Your contribution helps us restore life to the Earth and build the foundation for future forests around the world.
